So I have to say that this is probably one of the strangest snacks Rayden has had so far! We were making dinner and she came up and grabbed a raw potato while it was being peeled. We figured she would taste it and then give it back.....but no....she actually liked it! So grandma peeled her one of her own and gave it to her. She munched on that silly raw potato for quite awhile and enjoyed every bit of it! What a silly silly girl!
This week Rayden got to spend a lot of time with Auntie Shawna and the kids. They had so much fun playing outside since it was so so nice this week. They have a trampoline at their house and Rayden LOVES it.....she had a blast up there even though she fell a lot, she just thought it was hilarious! She also got to go to the Family Fun Center and her and Caitlyn (or Cake as she calls her) got to play in the playhouse there! What a fun and busy week!
Rayden had a lot of fun at Rayna's birthday party this past weekend! She got to play fun games, eat cake and strawberries and play with Rayna!! She was very very shy at first but warmed up after awhile and joined in the fun!
So a couple times a year there is a little carnival that sets up by the mall! Rayden was big enough to go on a couple rides with mommy and boy oh boy did she have fun!! She loved loved loved both the carousel and the BIG slide and wanted to go on both over and over again! We went on the slide 2 times and the carousel 4 times.....she would have gone more on both if we would have had the tickets!! Let's just say she was very very mad when we left! She had a blast and maybe next time she will be tall enough for even more rides!
Rayden and Daddy have so so much fun doing bubbles together!! Rayden likes to sind and dance in the bubbles and run around and pop them all! There are a couple of the bubble things that she can do herself to make bubbles......but it is more fun when daddy does them for you!
Rayden likes to sit at her table and read her books! Her favorite books to read are Dr. Suess ones and we have read them so much that she actually says the story when she gets to that page! Reading is so much fun!!!
Well the Easter Bunny came and visited Rayden this year and brought her all kinds of neat stuff! She was so excited about her basket of goodies and she loved her new rocking chair for Grandma and Papa's house.....it is SO cute!! She had a great time playing with her new toys all day, drinking from her new bunny cup and sitting in her chair! The only thing she didn't like were her new bunny sunglasses.....she will not put them on!! :) What a fun Easter!
Here is Rayden in her pretty Easter dress. She looked so cute in it but she was happy to get if off later so she could go outside and play in the dirt!! The last picture she is sitting on the Easter blanket that grandma made her.
Here is Rayden out on her easter egg hunt! She had a blast finding all of the eggs that the Easter Bunny hid for her! She found them all and liked putting them in her basket.....but then she wanted to put the eggs back out where she had found them! Maybe she wanted to hide them all again so she could have more fun looking.
Well today we dyed some Easter eggs so the Easter Bunny could come and hide them for Rayden tomorrow!! We got a new kind of dye this year where you just put a couple of drops of any color in a bag and squish the egg around; we figured this would be easy for Rayden to do! She had a grand ole time dyeing those eggs and she did a great job! She kept wanting to eat them all but we are not sure why because she does not even like eggs.....I guess they just looked pretty enough to eat!! Fun fun fun!!
Here are all of the finished eggs! They turned out really pretty this year with the new kind of dye and Rayden did such a good job with them!! She even got her own egg with her name on it!
We made some Easter cupcakes today and Rayden had a great time helping!! She was a great helper!! When stirring the cupcake batter she got some on her finger and she did not like that at all!! Also she would not taste it....she is NOT a batter eater!!
Rayden was a great helper making the cupcakes....but when it came to frosting the cupcakes that was a whole different story!! She loved frosting the cupcakes....and then eating the frosting.....then eating the cupcake!!! No one but her would want to eat the cupcake that she helped with! She had a blast though and it kept her quite entertained!
