Welcome Parker!

So just a little update for now, for I am too tired and busy lately to put all of the pictures up. There will be more coming soon, I promise! So little Parker arrived at 11:32 PM on Friday the 28th after a very difficult and tiring delivery. I had to push very very hard and fast to get him out because come to find out, this little one had the cord wrapped around his neck twice. Another 10-20 minutes and I would have had to have an emergency C-section. But he is doing fabulous and our little peanut came into this world at 5 pounds 4 ounces and 17 1/2 inches long. One ounce less than Rayden was and the same length. Rayden just loves her little brother but hasn't gotten to hold him and be near him too too much because she has a really bad cold. So more pictures and everything to come soon and Jeff is working on editing a little video that you can all see. Thank-you to everyone for all your support and prayers before, during and after Parker's arrival!

Painting

Rayden has been painting with watercolors lately and boy oh boy does she have a blast. This will keep her occupied and entertained for hours! She loves to pretend to paint her fingernails like mommy, painting in the book and all over herself of course. I am not sure what she has more fun with, painting in the book or on herself. By the looks of these pictures I would say probably herself :) Good thing they are washable!!!

First Haircut

Rayden finally had her first haircut at a haircutting place. She was badly in need of a trim so Sabrina evened it all up for her. Rayden was so good the whole time and sat there like a champ. Evidently it is a lot of fun to get your hair cut.

A New Scarf

A lady from my mom's work made Rayden this pretty new scarf. Rayden loves to wear it everywhere!

A Little Snack

"Parker" was craving ice cream one day while at the mall so we all got a yummy chocolate treat! Rayden seemd to enjoy it!!! What a beautiful mess :)

Blueberry Muffins

Rayden and I made blueberry muffins together one day. She had fun and always loves helping out in the kitchen.

Visiting Santa

We took Rayden to the mall to visit Santa. She was very excited and we thought she would get shy when she got up there, but she loved Santa Clause! When he asked her what she wanted for Christmas he did not expect to hear what came out of her mouth. She told him she wanted a pineapple....yup a pineapple! He laughed and asked her if she wanted any toys or dollies and she said yes, so now when you ask her what she wants for Christmas she says she wants a pineapple and dollies!! She is such a character!!

Fall Pictures

Ahhhh finally got Blogger to work for me! So these are some of Rayden's fall pictures that Tasha took for us. Tasha is the lady that used to take Rayden's pictures at WalMart and then at JCPenney. She is trying to start her own business and wanted to photograph Rayden for her portfolio, so we got all of these pictures for free....yay!! She did a great job and Rayden had a blast just playing in the leaves and in the park while she took her picture.

On the Playground

These are some of the pictures that Tasha took of Rayden playing on the playground. They turned out so cute as well.

33 Weeks

So a little over 33 weeks has passed now and we are looking at the final stretch in the pregnancy!! Parker is still doing wonderful! My doctor is having me have an ultrasound every week now so we get to see him alot! So far he has been gaining around a half a pound or more every week......already measuring around 4 1/2 pounds. Unless he stops growing so fast we don't think he will be a tiny 5 lb. 5 oz. baby like his sister was! So as of right now we think the date they are going to induce will be the 27th of December......can't wait!!

Caitlyn's Birthday Party

Caitlyn had her birthday party this weekend.... a big 5 years old!! Her party was at ABK where she does her gymnastics. All of the kids had a blast running around doing all of the gymnastics stuff. Rayden's favorites were the big trampoline and the bar! Rayden was so so tired afterwards from being so busy.

Silly Papa

So here is just a cute silly picture of my dad playing with Rayden! Papa will do just about anything for her......including wearing bunny ears! :)

Playdate with the Twins

My brother's friend Kenny came over from Klamath to visit and brought his twin girls over to play with Rayden. Rayden had a great time with Hannah (in blue) and Beonnca (in pink). The girls pulled all the toys out from the toy box, loved playing with the dinosaur and of course harrassing baby Jordan! Hopefully they will come play again soon!

Happy Halloween!!

Rayden sure had a blast this year on Halloween.....and no mishaps like last year!!! She dressed up as a cute purple Care Bear and liked to roar at everyone! We didn't know if she was going to be up to it since she has had a cold and wasn't feeling well, but she was all gungho! She did such a great job trick or treating and was so polite with everyone too! We were finishing up and she kept saying "Okay one more house, okay one more house!" We finally got home, and after we looked through all her candy she asked to go out again and start over! What a fun time!!

Pumpkin Time

So we were excited about carving the pumkins this year, figuring that Rayden would love it. Rayden wanted nothing to do with the pumpkins while they were being cleaned out.....she absolutely refused to touch them!! She said they were disgusting :) She did like to smell the pumpkins afterwards, enjoyed watching Jeff carve them and liked the looks of them afterwards when they were done. Maybe next year she will think that it is fun to help.....we'll see.
